We scoop the poop.
You relax and enjoy your yard.
When the yard starts getting used every day, poop piles up faster than most pet parents expect, especially in a place like Oakland, Pennsylvania where routines are already packed with school runs, work, and errands. POOP 911 is locally owned and operated by pet parents for pet families, so we understand how easy it is for backyard cleanup to slide from “I’ll get to it later” to “now the whole patio needs attention.”
In Pittsburgh’s Oakland neighborhood, daily movement tends to be busy and layered, and that same kind of stop and go rhythm shows up at home too. Between the University of Pittsburgh side of town, Carlow University, and local medical campuses around Oakland, a lot of households are balancing long days, changing schedules, and pets who still need the yard ready when everyone gets back. That is where recurring Pet Waste Cleanup makes real life easier, because it keeps the job from turning into a weekend chore you have to catch up on.
Recurring cleanup helps keep the grass cleaner, the odor down, and the whole yard more usable for kids, guests, and dogs. That matters in Oakland because local weather can swing from wet to warm in ways that make waste stand out faster and smell stronger, and because yards that get regular use do not stay tidy for long on their own. We see the value in setting a steady routine before buildup gets ahead of you, especially if your dog likes the same path along the fence line, the corner by the patio, or the play area the family uses most.
It also helps in a practical way when your day is already full. If you are heading out on Fifth Avenue, coming back through the Oakland area after work, or trying to get home with groceries and kids in the car, the last thing you want is one more job waiting in the yard. Our service is built for that kind of routine. We show up on schedule, handle the cleanup with care, and leave you with a yard that is easier to enjoy without that nagging step-in surprise waiting near the door.
The first cleanup is free when you sign up for recurring service, which gives your yard a clean starting point before the regular visits begin. After that, we stay on top of the mess so you can spend more quality time with family and friends outside, footloose and worry-free. If your home life feels like a constant shuffle between work, school, and evening dog time, a dependable service plan can be the simple fix that keeps the backyard from becoming one more thing to manage.
We keep the tone practical because that is what most pet parents need. You do not need a big production, just a reliable local team that respects your property and understands how pet waste affects the feel of the yard. If you want cleaner grass and a easier routine in Oakland, Pennsylvania, reach out to POOP 911 and set up recurring Pet Waste Cleanup today. We will help keep the space ready for everyday life, not just the rare day when you have extra time.

They come, clean hp, put the bags where they're supposed to and leave: you honestly don't even notice they're there - but like MAGIC and all the poop is picked up and gone! ♥️

I can't stand outside, with my back and pick up poop anymore. This service is great!

I really wanted to love this service since i saw so many positive reviews, but it was just average. I ordered the initial first time clean up, (longer than 3 months) and hoped I would go out to a clean yard. The next morning i picked up about 1/2 poop bag. I also asked for the clean up to be left behind so I could see how much was picked up. Nothing was left. They couldn't have been there longer than 5-10 minutes and when I noticed him leaving i tried to catch him, but he didn't stop. Hoping my next experience is more positive.

Usually they get all of the poop, but this time, there was so much missed I had to do it myself. 😢 Very disappointed this week.

**Update, inconsistent with service. More than one occasion a technician "serviced" our yard but left piles all over the yard and yet I was charged for service. My first regular service, the tech was a no-show but I was charged for service I didnt receive. They gave me the following week at no charge. Then about a month ago I reached out because of poor service, they apologized and corrected the problem. 2 weeks later, poor service again. Emailed them to cancel service, got no response. I emailed them again a week later asking for confirmation of cancellation email and still have not heard back from them. They started out strong for our initial clean up but after that, I was not impressed. We had our initial clean this past week. Our poor yard had not been cleaned in months because of the weather (I know, gross). They came as scheduled, and cleaned everywhere! They even got all the waste under our gigantic trampoline. We are thrilled. Very nicely done.

This is seriously the best money I spend. The dogs are enjoying the yard and so are we, and we're don't have to worry about anything. No more aggravating my back and hips, no more begging the kids, no more worrying about mowing the lawn. This is my favour thing ever!! Walter does a fantastic job!! Thank you, Walter!!

You did an excellent job on the parts of yard you did, but I think there was some confusion about where you needed to pick up. We have three hillsides. One straight in back that the dogs use up on flat part. None of that got picked up. The other 2 hillsides are in the front which the electric fence doesn’t go to and also on the left side where the pagoda is at. These are the 2 Hills the dogs don’t use. I’m sure when you come next week and look you will realize what I’m talking about. Thank you!!

Had issues with my house being located after going thru in great detail a description along with the address. When I checked at the end of the day after the job was done I see that we still have to be cautious walking in the yard. For the price I was expecting better, will just add this job to our spring yard cleanup. Much happier, they came back today to take a second look and the job looks 100% better. Thank you for wanting to make things right, it makes a big difference in today's world.

Amazing. They always come and do a great job with clean up. We have had one instance of bad weather where they let us know they couldn’t make it and came the very next day. You get a receipt for each week of clean up immediately after they billed you. Plus they just charge your card. Super easy. I would recommend them!

The owner Alana is so sweet, and extremely helpful. The Scoopers do an amazing job, they are very fast, and you never know they were there other than the fact that there is 0 poop left. Very happy I found them
