We scoop the poop.
You relax and enjoy your yard.
When the yard is getting used every day, the mess can pile up faster than most pet parents expect. In W Amherst, a stretch of wet weather, spring growth, or a busy weekend can turn a decent backyard into one more chore on the list. That is where our local POOP 911 branch helps. We are locally owned and operated by pet parents for pet families, and we focus on keeping the yard ready for the moments that matter, not just cleaning it when it is already overdue.
Amherst is a large town in Erie County, and a lot of day-to-day life here runs through the same familiar places. Families move between school runs, errands, and home routines around Main Street, Transit Road, and the Town of Amherst park system. When dogs are part of that routine, the backyard has to stay usable without adding another task to the week. Recurring dog poop removal makes that easier because it keeps up with the waste before it gets scattered, stepped in, or baked in by changing weather.
For many households, the real goal is not just a clean yard. It is a yard that works for kids, guests, and dogs at the same time. That is especially true in a place like Amherst, where outdoor time can happen in quick bursts between errands or after a full day out. We see recurring service make the biggest difference for families getting ready for a weekend cookout, for busy commuter households coming home from errands, and for pet parents who just want the grass to feel ready when everyone finally gets outside.
Local park use and neighborhood routines also make cleanup timing matter. Amherst Town Parks includes places like Bassett Park, Amherst Veterans Canal Park, and Smith Road Paw Park, which tells you a lot about how active dog life is in this area. When pets are getting regular exercise and people are using the yard often, waste does not stay “not a big deal” for long. A recurring schedule helps stay ahead of that fast buildup, especially when the lawn is growing, the weather is damp, or the family is trying to keep patios and play areas more pleasant.
That is why customers in this area often choose POOP 911 recurring service. It cuts down on weekend chore pressure, helps reduce odor, and keeps the yard more comfortable for barefoot kids, guests, and dogs. The first cleanup is free when you sign up for recurring service, so it is easy to start fresh and then let us keep it that way. We handle the regular visits, you get a cleaner yard, and family time outside feels a little more footloose and worry-free.
If you want a simple routine that fits real life in W Amherst, let’s set up your recurring service. We make it convenient, reliable, and easy to keep going, so your yard is ready when you are. Reach out today and let POOP 911 help keep your outdoor space cleaner, week after week.

Service used to he great with the last technician, but since the new ome took over I've had nothing but issues, including they are relieving themselves in our yard, using the pool to clean off the topls, and not cleaning the destinated areas. Would typically spend less then a minute cleaning. Then spend 20 minutes in the car outside.

I am hoping this will allow me to give zero stars if not I will give one. Since the change in the tech's working for the company it has been nothing but trouble. This week I had to have their tech come out THREE times to totally clear our lawn. The final time I had to literally mark the areas that were not cleaned previously. We finally ended up cancelling the service due to the poor performance

Poop 911 in this area has recently been bought out by new people and the new service is less than lack luster. The old owner and service was great efficient and pleasantly mannered while the new service is less than the exact opposite. I pay for a service of 3 dogs and every single week the quality continues to taper of farther and farther from the high amounts we pay and when we call to have the person come back which they charge us another 2.00 for even tho they didn’t do it correctly the first time they also make u feel like your an inconvenience. I will be looking for a new company and do not reckons this new owner as u can get better quality service for less almost anywhere else.

My first experience with Poop Guy 911 was great. I received Text, email and Phone call letting me know he was om the way. That was really nice to know when he is headed to the house, especially if u have concerned neighbors. He does good job in the yard, the yard looks clean (for now). Thanks again!

Lazy and had a slew of excuses as to why he couldn't do the job. Claimed he doesn't deal with Cane Corsos or Lab mixes, claimed he does rake customers past Brighton rd in tonawanda (which is literally 2 blocks away). In reality, its a spring cleaning and when he realized it wasn't going to be a quick buck, he refused to work. Go with a local service like K9 Lawn pals who are quick and professional.

My Mom and I have been using this service for a couple of years now and we are EXTREMELY pleased with it. John is very personable and kind. He shows up like clockwork each week and does a wonderful job. I love that he texts us ahead of time to let us know he is on his way. This gives us a chance to put the dogs up while he quickly does his work. Thank you John! You rock!

I want to preface this by saying I never reviewed anything online before. I booked this service online bc I have 4 very young children and my husband just had surgery. Basically, I needed help with the dog poop in the backyard. I booked the service days in advance, emailed back and forth with John the day of, and then at 3p the day he was supposed to complete the service, John texted a weird long message stating he was cancelling bc he was scared he would get bit by my dog. I have a 25lb terrier mix that is 13 years old. He barks, but has never bitten anyone. In multiple correspondence, I told him that the dog would be inside the entire time he was at my house. I also asked that he let me know when he was on his way so there would be no issues. I responded to the text restating all of this and did not receive a response. This was very disappointing and unprofessional. Something that was supposed to help make my life easier just made it 10x harder. I have a lawn service coming tomorrow and now I have clean everything myself after I put my kids (4 under 4) to bed.

With some of the winters we have and having pets, it can be hard to keep up with the waste sometimes, specially when we get hit with snow storms! After the last storm we had, it was hectic once it all melted, eeek! So I had a friend of mine tell me about Poop911 and how they came out and cleaned up for you, whether it’s a one time thing or a subscription that matched your needs, they’re there to help. We decided to get the help and do a weekly schedule to keep it clean and today John came for our first clean up and did a great job! Although our first clean up was free of charge due to a promotion, I absolutely felt the need to leave him a nice tip as our thank you for his services. We will remain getting services in the future also. I definitely recommend Poop911 for your pet clean up services and more! Thank you again! Kris and David

EDIT- previous owner did a great job. Current service is terrible. Associate shows up and is here 3 minutes (literally) from car door back to car door. I have two dogs and piles are continuously left. Reached out to owner - not sure if anything will be done to improve service. Honestly the best service I’ve ever paid for. Always communicative, does a great job - so incredibly worth it!

I am disabled and where I live I would not be able to keep my dog if I can't clean up his waste. Poop911 allows me to keep my best friend. I am very grateful for this service.

John @ Buffalo Poop 911 is amazing! He is dependable, efficient, friendly and kind. He comes every Friday, regardless of weather (wind, rain, sleet, or snow) and is in/out in no time! Most days I don’t even see him come/go. Excellent service and very reasonable cost!!

Signed up thru a website. Everything seemed fine until I recieved a very strange and bizarre text message from the guy who comes to about 5 min away from me in fact he services my zip code but he can't do mine. How weird noticing other reviews here seems he's farming peoples card informations

Since re-opening my business post-COVID closures I've been working six 10-12 hr days/week. On my day off I: shop, cook, clean, do laundry and the yard and dog debris, (3 dogs). Something had to give. I broke down and arranged waste clean-up via Poop 911. The rep, John, is incredibly kind, reliable, efficient and does an AMAZING job! My yard has not looked this good in 3 years, and my dogs are happy, happy, happy. I definitely recommend!
