POOP 911 saved me this year following the winter. Cleaning up the yard from our boxer after three months of on and off snow is by far the last task I want to tackle when spring time comes. I found POOP 911 online, set up an appointment with my details - yard size, how long since cleaning, etc. and they gave me a date and price and showed up. I didn’t need to be home at all. I really appreciate this service. With five dogs (albeit small ones), I needed help cleaning up my yard and this company does that wonderfully. They have varying plans to fit all types of needs (e.g. from once a week to once a month) and complete their service in any type of weather. They are prompt to respond to concerns and are quite friendly. There definitely aren't many in the business that do what they do, but they do it well.

I used Freddy's service a couple years ago and it was great. We have been using them for the last few months and they haven't been doing a good job, so I contacted Freddy who told me that they only allocate 15 minutes to clean my 1 acre yard with 5 large dogs! That is completely unrealistic! No where does the website say that they will clean the yard but will stop when they reach 15 minutes! I contracted for once a week service with a large yard with 5 dogs, and they quoted $35 on those facts, no where does it say that $35 only buys 15 minutes of service!

They do a decent job but their bookkeeping is not good. They often charge my card even after I have told them to amend services for several weeks, etc. Then they do not reply or credit your account even after you bring it to their attention. I wouldn’t recommend giving them your credit card for this reason.

I previously left a positive review which I am now amending. When I first hired them they showed up on the appointed day and did a good job. As the weeks wore on problems started occurring. On several occasions I was charged without having actually received the service. Their excuse would generally be that there were dogs in the yard and no one home to call them in. This is impossible as I’m disabled and can no longer drive. I cannot leave my home without assistance and would never go away and leave my dogs outside. Never. In the beginning I treated this as a misunderstanding and tried to resolve the issue. On more than one occasion I suggested they have their employee text me when they arrive and I would make sure that they could enter the property unimpeded. They flat out refused to do this nor would they have the employee knock on my front door to announce their arrival. The final straw came last Friday, December 28th. I was eager to have the yard cleaned as they didn’t clean it the previous week and never responded to my messages asking them why they hadn’t. It poured rain most of the day and I would not have considered it unreasonable for them to contact me to reschedule for another day. They didn’t though and yet charged my bank card for the service yet again. I was home all day and I am 100% positive that no attempt was made to clean my yard. I finally put an ad on Craig’s List and hired a private person to do a weekly cleaning for cash. When I called my bank to find out how to put a stop to these weekly charges from poop 911 I was told that my only option is to cancel my bank card and get a new one. I sent poop 911 an email letting them know that the yard wasn’t cleaned yet again.They never responded or made any attempt to make this situation right. Based on what my bank has told me you cannot dispute a payment made to a service provider for poor or unreceived services because it’s your word against theirs. Never again will I give anyone a card number for services not yet received. Having my card on file to bill whenever they choose paved the way for the exact situation I’m in right now—— charges on my account that I am unable to dispute or get refunded. Beware!! Think twice before giving this company your banking information .

The initial service was completed with no issue. However, for my first scheduled service, no one showed up and there was no communication. I emailed asking what happened and was told that the weather was bad. The email indicated someone would perform the service the next day. However, no one showed up then either. Needless to say I canceled the service.

Clean up wise this company is good, they've been out twice and have gotten 85-90% of the mess my pups leave behind, hopefully as they keep coming it ends up being 100%. My issue is contact with this company, I've emailed and called twice with a minimal response to my email and no response to my phone calls. At this point I owe them money but can't get anyone to call me back to take my credit card info and more importantly answer the few questions I have. I guess I'll wait and see if I hear from anyone after this review. *4/26/19 I have the company back again this year after a run around of trying to get them rescheduled to do my yard. As usual because I couldn't get them by phone or email I rebooked them online and then was overcharged for my 1st service. But because it's such convenient service and the people that come out do a good job I try to overlook the horrible communication. Still aggravated about the over charge for 1st service but not much I can do about it at this point. The positive outweigh the negative.

I love the service but wish there was more information provided on what was completed. How much piles of poop removed etc. or if there is a way to follow up. I find the website give minimal information. My backyard is less than a 1/2 acre but still big to me. I would have to walk all over to see if everything was picked up. The time stamp said it was completed in 15 min?
