Im so disappointed with Aurora Poop911. It all started with the website and making an appointment where it says "pick your service date" and then it assigns you a date with zero choice given whatsoever and you are locked in. The only way to change it is to schedule another service (it even says that in the answering machine message that I kept getting for weeks when I would try and call) I was so excited by their new pop up ad that says now servicing and sanitizing cat boxes. I clicked on it was led through the entire process filling out in GREAT DETAIL what I had and the service I was looking for. Everytime I had to put in a credit card to move forward. My last try with the portal with all the catbox detail in writing sent and i got a confirmation email for my first service. I called/emailed and tried the portal to ask about an arrival window. I got no response. Waited all day. Seriously up at 9am not knowing when they were coming. Finally I left for work at 530pm and received a call at 7pm he was waiting at my door. No answer no explanation. I got a call back two days ago and talked with the owner, jeff the poop guy. He set me up with yet another portal my credit card is in, and we rescheduled. Due to my detailed "application" I sent in online and the confirmation email poop911 sent, plus directly saying things to jeff on the phone like, "when Everett the technician arrives for the first visit ill have to show him where in the house the boxes are and how its set up etc". I assumed he had read my stuff and knew. Also when I got a text where jeff accidentally wrote "yard" i immediately text back saying "just a reminder since I had account issues that its not a yard but its inside catboxes." I got No response back indicating any confusion on his part. After all of this and the difficulty of the portal and website and difficult communication I take this morning off of work and wait for Everett. He knocks and when I answer he is standing 10 feet from the front door like he is scared and im trying to rob him or something. Then just repeats over and over that we "dont go inside houses" and thats all he will say. Very strange. I called and left another message saying how I am here and the technician left and im angry and confused. When the owner calls me back the explanation i received from him, WHO I HAD ALREADY TALKED TO THIS WEEK AND HE DIDNT MENTION A THING, was..... "EVER SINCE COVID WE DONT ENTER HOUSES". Yep. ITS THE MOST RIDICULOUS THING IVE EVER HEARD. COVID. REALLY? ARE YOU SERIOUS? YOU PICK UP POOP! AND IT SAYS CATBOXES IN YOUR ADS. Anyway bad communicators, literally give you a 12 hour window to sit around like an asshole waiting on them, and then they say they do not provide the service that their business literally says it does. "Services and sanitizes catboxes." They just fail to mention until you've wasted a lot of time on them that they ONLY do catboxes if you are the ONLY person in the world to have your catboxes outside in the front of your house. HA HA What!?! 🙄. Sigh. Im just so extremely disappointed. Its a service I desperately need and it was and clearly is hard to find. I just got my hopes up too much before actually meeting with and talking to the real people working there and relied on the website, confirmation email, and texts. Here is a screenshot after just googling it alone that talks about catboxes. I got a pop up ad about it from Poop911. They are advertising catboxes. They just dont do them is the issue. Nothing I can do about it and it's nothing poop911 cares about. I get it. Im just one angry customer. Working in the airlines Im well aware that one person complaining makes absolutely ZERO difference. ---- Thank you for your short response. My policy is to be told about the unwritten rules right away instead of 3 weeks later when ive taken off work. However, stating it on your website would be an easy fix, clear up any future confusion for people, and help keep all your employees who are scared of covid from having to interact or see other human beings. Win-Win.
